Privacy Policy

Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”This Privacy Policy describes how WellRiverDev (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Quick Updates, a monday.com app that provides reusable text templates for the monday.com Updates section.
By installing or using Quick Updates, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Access
Section titled “Information We Access”Quick Updates accesses the following data from your monday.com account via OAuth permissions:
- User identity (
me:read) — your name and account ID, used to authenticate you and scope your data to your account - Board and item data (
boards:read) — board structure, item names, column values, and assignees, used to resolve dynamic placeholders in templates at the time an update is sent - Board write access (
boards:write) — permission to post updates to board items on your behalf - User information (
users:read) — user details used to populate dynamic variables in templates - Updates (
updates:write) — posting your template content as updates on monday.com items
We access only the data necessary to provide the features of the app.
How We Use Your Data
Section titled “How We Use Your Data”We use the data described above solely to provide the Quick Updates service. Specifically:
- To authenticate your session and scope your templates to your account
- To resolve dynamic placeholders (such as item name or assignee) when you send an update
- To post updates to monday.com items on your behalf
- To store and retrieve your saved templates
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the functionality of the app.
Data Storage and Security
Section titled “Data Storage and Security”- Templates are stored using monday.com’s native app storage API (monday Storage), scoped to your account. This data resides within monday.com’s infrastructure and is not transmitted to external servers.
- OAuth tokens are stored in monday.com’s SecureStorage and are used solely to authenticate API requests made on your behalf.
- We do not operate an independent database. No user data is stored on WellRiverDev servers beyond the ephemeral processing required to handle individual requests.
Security of your data within monday.com’s infrastructure is governed by monday.com’s own security practices and policies.
Third-Party Sharing
Section titled “Third-Party Sharing”We do not share, sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise disclose your data to any third parties. All data accessed by Quick Updates remains within the monday.com platform.
Cookies and Tracking
Section titled “Cookies and Tracking”Quick Updates does not use cookies, tracking pixels, session recording tools, or analytics software. We do not collect behavioral or usage data.
Data Retention and Deletion upon Deauthorization, Deactivation, or Uninstall
Section titled “Data Retention and Deletion upon Deauthorization, Deactivation, or Uninstall”If monday.com or an end user de-authorizes, deactivates, uninstalls, or otherwise terminates Quick Updates, we delete End User Data and related metadata within 7 days, which is within monday.com’s required 10-day deletion window.
- OAuth tokens are deleted immediately when we receive the uninstall event.
- App data stored in monday-managed storage, including templates and related metadata, is permanently deleted during our scheduled cleanup process within 7 days.
- We do not retain End User Data longer than this period unless we first obtain the end user’s express written consent.
This retention window exists only to support short-term recovery in case an app is reinstalled shortly after removal. If the app is not reinstalled in that period, the data is permanently deleted from monday-managed storage.
Your Rights
Section titled “Your Rights”You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Delete templates — you can delete individual templates at any time directly through the app interface
- Revoke access — you can revoke the app’s OAuth permissions at any time via your monday.com account settings
- Full data deletion — uninstalling the app triggers complete deletion of all associated data as described above

Changes to This Policy
Section titled “Changes to This Policy”We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Quick Updates after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
